Support for older people and their families

Company, practical help and a clear next step. Our support is free, local and built around what you need.

Who we support

Who our services are for

You do not need a referral or a diagnosis. If one of these sounds like you, or someone you care about, we can help.

  • Older people

If the days feel long, you have lost someone, or getting out has become harder, we can bring company and practical help to you.

  • People living with a long-term condition

From dementia to arthritis to depression, we help you claim the support you are entitled to, including PIP, and connect you with people who understand.

  • Families and carers

Worried about someone? You can get in touch on their behalf. We will talk it through with you first, then with them.

  • Care homes and sheltered housing

We work with homes to bring regular, DBS-checked befrienders to residents who rarely receive visitors.

What happens next

Three steps, and no forms to complete first

  1. You get in touch

Call us, or send a message and we will call you. Tell us what is happening in your own words.

  2. We talk it through

A conversation about what would help, whether that is us or another local service we trust.

  3. Support starts

A befriender matched to you, a first shed visit, or help with your PIP form, usually within a couple of weeks.
